Hello, I’m Zoe

An event, business and personal brand photographer based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, North East of England.

I’m a mam to a teenage daughter (who leaves a trail of mess wherever she goes) partner to Chris (the most laid back human on earth) and dog owner to our cavachon (who can do some canny tricks)

With over a decade of experience in my photography business, I’ve had the pleasure of working with families, capturing special events and businesses across the UK.

I’m all about creating an enjoyable experience for my clients, so you can feel relaxed and at ease with me as your photographer, for whatever your event or business requires.

Why I love Photography

As a child I was fascinated by the photos my grandad would develop in the dark room, and I inherited a lot of his old cameras. Since losing my Mam at a young age, I really value & cherish photographs, which is why I truly enjoy working with people, capturing special occasions, life events, businesses, personal brands and milestone celebrations.

How it all started

A planned trip to the Amalfi coast in Italy inspired me to buy a DSLR camera so that I could capture this beautiful destination. The following year I had my daughter, and I began receiving requests for family, portrait and event photography for special occasions. This led me on to invest in a number of courses to continue learning and develop my craft.

My Business Journey

My journey into setting up my photography business began in 2012, when my daughter was a baby, with no childcare support available, returning to a job with demanding hours wasn’t an option.

I decided to invest in a year-long course to help me build a photography business focused on lifestyle, family, portrait and wedding photography.. By the end of 2013, I had established my business and opened my first studio in North Shields.

After the pandemic, I found myself drawn to brand photography, enjoying the freedom of being a freelance photographer and I loved capturing the heart of people’s businesses and personal brands.

Through referrals and building a strong network, this led me on to working with a wide range of businesses from wellness, HR, accounting, coaches, recruitment and corporate sectors, as well as running headshot, mini brand shoot days and my Glow Photoshoot Days for women (find more info on these here https://zoecampbellphoto.co.uk/photoshoot-days)

I also cover photography for events, festivals, occasions, christenings, birthday parties, small weddings, baby showers, hindu ceremonies, charity balls and corporate events. I am so thankful for the positive feedback I have received from my clients, which has helped me grow and evolve in my business journey.

My Mission

My mission is to help local businesses and individuals feel confident being seen, and proud of who they are and what they’ve built, through personal brand photography. I take the time to connect with every client, capturing their personality, energy and the unique story behind what they do.

I love helping people show up with confidence, build visibility and create images that feel true to them, through relaxed, authentic photography that captures real moments, real connections and the people behind the brand with purpose.
